Technologies
Chopcot®
The Chopcot® is a top chopper, known for reliability and efficiency across markets. It cuts various breakable fibers and works in both horizontal and vertical setups. A robot-compatible version is also available, making it versatile and suitable for diverse applications.
tOOchop®
The tOOchop® technology uses two blade roll’s in one chopper without the requirement for a stressroll. This technology enables to cut Glass and Carbon fibers with low tex and K value and/or is used when direct roving is applicable. It is possible to cut fibers with extremely bad chopping behavior.
Hybrid
Van der Mast’s Hybrid Chopper® chops non-breakable fibers like Polymers and Natural fibers. Two versions, HC and HC+ make sliding cuts. The HC+ excels with low-denier Polymers like Aramid and Dyneema and uniquely achieves 100% cuts on natural fibers, offering unmatched versatility in fiber chopping.
Handheld & Robot
The M-Chopper meets the composite market’s needs with its lightweight, high-capacity design, ideal for handheld, cobot, and robot applications. Popular in SMC setups, it offers unmatched versatility. For higher capacity where weight matters less, options like the PRM solution are favored, especially in the automotive industry.
